Head of the Duma Defense Committee Andrei Kartapolov spoke about the amendments to the unified register of persons liable for military service, which the deputies will consider on Tuesday, April 11. In particular, the amendments provide for the introduction of measures for draft evaders.
«Provisional measures will be introduced for draft evaders,» Kartapolov said.
«Up to a ban on leaving and imprisonment transactions,» added the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense.
He also said that it is planned to send out electronic alerts from the military registration and enlistment offices. They will duplicate traditional agendas. At the same time, electronic notifications and traditional agendas will have equal legal force.
