MOSCOW, April 9 People's Artist of Russia Liya Akhedzhakova resigned from the capital's Sovremennik Theater of her own free will, the institution's press service reported.
«Liya Akhedzhakova resigned from the theater of her own free will, in connection with this, labor relations with her cannot be continued,» they specified.
In February, the actress announced that she had no roles in the theater after the play «The Game of Gin» with her participation was replaced with other productions.
Liya Akhedzhakova is a theater and film actress, People's Artist of Russia. Born in 1938 in Dnepropetrovsk in an acting family.
