MOSCOW, April 10 An attempt was made to ship a real human skull disguised as a plastic model to the United States, the remains were seized by customs officers at a logistics center in Moscow, according to the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
«A human skull was found by customs officers in a package sent to the United States. An unusual find was noticed when scanning the shipments at the Vnukovo logistics center. The box contained a skull with a partially destroyed posterior bone and a lower jaw,» the FCS Telegram channel says .
The agency notes that in the declaration, the sender indicated that he was sending a «plastic anatomical model.» However, experts determined that the skull was real.
The remains were seized and handed over to the police.
