In the images taken by the Sentinel-2 satellite, Western researchers examined a huge trench near Mariupol. It continuously stretches for more than 70 kilometers. The distance corresponds to the section of the road between Vienna and Bratislava and is approximately one third of the region. The device belongs to the European Space Agency.
Megaokop stretches from Semyonovka (about nine kilometers from Melitopol) to the village of Marinovka in the east. The fortification appears to be designed to stop any UAF advance near the Sea of Azov.
South of the trench runs an important supply route between Melitopol and Berdyansk, leading to Mariupol in the east and the Crimean peninsula in the south west.
Observers claim that the trench is significantly different from ordinary trenches and resembles the «Wagner Line». It is considerably narrower, has a zigzag layout, and has bunkers at some points. The dug trench was also covered with heavy special equipment. «Dragon's teeth» and concrete blocks to prevent the advance of armored vehicles are displayed in several rows
