The share of the US national currency in international foreign exchange reserves fell to 58.36% for the first time in 27 years, according to data (IMF.
< p>The share of the dollar fell by 0.44 percentage points, which was the largest drop among other currencies.
The share of the euro lost 20.47% (-0.12%), the yuan and yen fell by 0.11% and 0.01%, respectively.
At the same time, according to Izvestia, non-reserve currencies became beneficiaries and, on the contrary, increased their share to 3.45%, which is the maximum for the last 11 years.
The pound sterling, the Swiss franc and the Australian dollar strengthened.
Dollar reserves also fell to $6.471 trillion, and reserves in other currencies are in decline. The exception is the Swiss franc, non-reserve currencies and international assets.
Earlier, former US President Donald Trump said that the dollar is in danger of ceasing to be the world's leading currency due to the policies of the Joe Biden administration.
