MOSCOW, 11 Apr. Former World No. 1 Briton Andy Murray included the Russian Daniil Medvedev in the top three tennis players he is interested in watching.
“I like to watch Medvedev because he is different from others. He is very unconventional, everything he does on the court cannot be found in textbooks,” Eurosport quoted Murray as saying.
In addition to Medvedev, Murray also singled out the second racket of the world Spaniard Carlos Alcaras and the leader of the women's rating Pole Iga Swiatek.
Murray is a three-time winner of the Grand Slam tournaments (US Open — 2012, Wimbledon — 2013, 2016) and a two-time Olympic champion in singles. In February, Medvedev defeated Murray in the final of the tournament in Doha.
