MOSCOW, April 11 Alfa-Bank launched online banking in VK, with its help you can transfer money and view card expenses, and will soon appear and the ability to pay by QR codes, according to the materials of the credit institution.
«We have launched the country's first banking in VK. You can transfer money and view card expenses in the chat. And soon we will launch games and pay by QR codes,» the bank's Telegram channel says.
Alfa-Bank at the end of last year announced that it plans to launch the ability to open cards and make transfers in VK and Telegram. However, since March 1, a law came into force in Russia, according to which a number of organizations in Russia are prohibited from using Telegram, which is on the list of foreign messengers, to transfer payment documents and personal data when providing services.
In this regard, VTB, which launched an online bank in Telegram in January, turned to Roskomnadzor for clarification regarding the operation of their service in this messenger. The bank indicated that, if necessary, it would adjust its work there or stop. In April, VTB is going to launch a new full-fledged online bank on VKontakte. Customers will have access to everyday financial services, such as balance viewing, transfers via SBP and between their accounts, mobile phone payments, batch payment of bills and transaction history, the press service said on Tuesday.
