The world of figure skating knows about choreographer Anastasia Yurasova thanks to her work with Alexandra Trusova. Is this really so?- It is not the framemap itself that liberates. Rather, acting and, in principle, any dance. When you learn to control your body, you generally become confident. A well-danced person feels insanely beautiful, no matter how he looks — this has been proven over the years and thousands of dancers. This is especially true for boys. They may be completely ordinary in appearance, but they will feel like Brad Pitt with a million dollars in their pocket if they know how to dance cool.- That is, Sasha Trusova, when she came to you, did not have the task of emancipation, as one might assume?

“She just liked the style, that's why she came. She is a sweet, kind and shy girl. I just can not wean her to me «vykat». She has made great progress over the course of her studies. She said: «I can't dance, I'm made of wood.» I asked her to make a video. I say, let's show everyone how beautifully you have learned to move. You will receive feedback. Yes, someone will say that you are a stripper, why are you wearing these strips and why are you moving so defiantly. But these people do not need to pay attention, they just do not understand. — One girl wrote to me that it would be cool to stage a number for a figure skating show, where there are practically no restrictions. I am currently staging my performance, so I and the dancers especially do not have time. But this proposal seemed interesting and difficult to me. We danced on different surfaces, but ice in this regard is something completely new. Secondly, it is a federal TV channel. We have not collaborated before. He is still quite conservative, and I was surprised that the organizers of the show not only agreed to our idea, but also with pleasure.

The idea of ​​»Perfume» was also brought by Olya, who offered to participate in the tournament. I had a performance based on «Perfumer», so the concept, how it can be shown, was also in my head. I would dance by myself, because I love such challenges. But this time it wasn't possible. My girls were delighted with the experience.

— Have you encountered any problems? Girls lying on the ice in thin, weightless overalls looked quite exotic.It wasn't super dangerous. Many said: how will you be «naked» on the ice? It's like being on a cold bench. They do not sit in one place, but constantly move. I tried it myself. In terms of comfort, it was cold only when we «divorced», tried. But at the moment of the performance you do not feel this discomfort.

— And how did you solve the issue of slipperiness?

— We always rely either on our hands or on our platform, shoes. Here there was no support — you push with your hand, and it slides. You push with your foot — it slides. Doing static elements, for example, on your knees, is normal. But when you need to roll into a pose, move into a drawing — this turned out to be the most difficult. In the beginning, they couldn't do anything — they just fell.We had only three runs — the first one the day before the tournament. The ice was of the same quality, we practiced on it, everything worked out. The next day, a run in the morning on fresh ice. And he began to slide twice as much. And then on the final run it was cleaned again, and it all just turned into a mirror. Perfectly even. At rehearsals, the girls could still quietly walk to the starting point on their heels, but here they simply could not take a single step. I could not come to the run then and received messages: «Nastya, this is a failure, we can't do anything.» And then there was already an entrance to the stage.It was scary. I am very proud of the girls. They did great. It was not ideal, perhaps, and if it was a floor, there would be 100 times more claims against them. But on the ice and in such a short time of preparation — excellent.

— And it was impossible to lay something on the ice?

— Organizers for security purposes, they wanted to lay a cover. I said stop. We didn't go to dance on the floor. We wanted to try it not for money, not even for fame, but just to test the limits of our capabilities. Well, give an impetus to the style — so that more people see it.

— And if the organizers had insisted on covering?

— Then we would simply not dance. And so we had little contact with Andrey. With a coating, this contact would not exist at all. He would ride by himself, we would dance by ourselves. And what is the point?- In my ideal world, every second of Andrey's choreography should have been connected with ours. But there was simply no time for that. He already had the choreography, we had the choreography, and when we met, it was necessary to combine it. Therefore, it is not so noticeable on the arena yet, but on the cameras there is a rather strong feeling that Andrei is there, and we are here. As if separately from each other.
— We do not communicate with any of the members of the jury in our lives. I heard that the producers really liked the number. As for the judges, I only know that there was a wide spread in points. The majority put eight or nine, and someone alone (Boris Eifman. — ed.) — five points. The difference is almost half. In dance competitions, there is no such spread in marks.

— Why do you think there is such a spread?

— It looked as if someone something came in, and someone said: «What kind of debauchery on ice?» It felt like this to me. I don't know how you can put five for a beautiful number. Some kind of preconceived thing, I think.

— Do you often encounter prejudiced attitude? As soon as some people see «cables», common sense is turned off. They do not notice either the purity of the lines or the creative component. There are «cables» — you are a stripper. Even if you are dressed, they will tell you that you are naked, because in «strips». Even if you dance a lyrical frameup, for someone it's still a striptease.

We live in a modern world where there are many styles of dance, and there are those too. And a frameup is not a striptease. How many years we have been proving this on various platforms, including international ones, how many great reviews we have received from both adults and young people.

People with old views are probably normal. But this will not affect my perception of creativity and my style. I don't really care about scores. It would be interesting to hear the jury's comments. I think that there is only one justification for the low rating — too frankly, why is this necessary and all that.- In figure skating, the popularity of all kinds of ice shows is now flourishing. Ballet and ice have already been combined, for example. Could a frameup be combined with skaters on the scale of a large performance?- It can be done cool, with a lot of dancers and dancers. It would be divine. But I can't imagine how to train it while sitting on the ice for hours. And you need to train on the ice, feel the grip with it, adapt to it. The viewer should not worry about us, he should see only lightness. In any case, there is no such proposal yet. When it appears, I will be able to work on it more concretely.

And I, of course, need full directing in hand. So that every movement is in the music, even for skaters, and not so that it is necessary to jump three jumps here, so we abandon the choreography and run to jump.

— Ice choreographers will argue with you and they will say that jumping is more important than hitting accents.

— You know, I would watch figure skating more often if they skated to music. Should be goosebumps from musicality. Skaters have huge motor capabilities, such dynamics, scope and breadth, but they practically do not use them. Sometimes you think — why is he jumping now, if in five seconds there will be a strong beat, on which it would be ideal to land and leave? Yes, the audience will simply jump out of their seats in amazement and delight if they see this. And judges too.
