Russian customs officers seized almost 800 kilograms of hashish from Europe



MOSCOW, April 11 Two Russians and a Belarusian were caught smuggling almost 800 kilograms of hashish from Europe, the cost of the drug exceeds 350 million rubles, according to the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
“Almost 800 kilograms of hashish brought from Europe were confiscated by customs officers from smugglers. Drugs — 7,600 hashish bars — were found in the cache of a truck. Their value on the black market exceeds 350 million rubles,” the FCS reports in its telegram channel .
The department noted that employees of the North-Western Customs Administration detained three members of an international criminal group who organized the supply of the drug. This, clarified in the FCS, two citizens of the Russian Federation, one of whom has a residence permit in the European Union, as well as a citizen of Belarus.

A criminal case has been initiated, the department added, without specifying the place where the suspects were detained.
