MOSCOW, April 12 Mobile operator Megafon intends to challenge the inclusion in the US sanctions list by all available means, the company said.
Earlier on Wednesday The US has imposed new sanctions against dozens of individuals and entities associated with Russia. In particular, Megafon is included in the sanctions lists.
«We consider the inclusion of our company in the US sanctions list as an unfair and illegal step, which has no basis. We are a commercial company providing services of high social significance to millions of customers. We intend to challenge these restrictions in every way we can,» the company said in a statement.
