The Kozelsky District Court of the Kaluga Region returned to the police a report on the «discrediting» of the army, which was drawn up against the military surgeon Yury Yevich, who participated in the war with Ukraine. This is stated in the file of the court.
The judge made a decision before the meeting, which was scheduled for April 18.
According to Readovka, the reason for the protocol was a lecture by a doctor for employees of the National Guard on Sakhalin, in which he mentioned the shortcomings of the medical support of the Russian army in the war in Ukraine and other problems. The administrative case, according to Ezhovich’s associates, was initiated after a complaint from one of the students, an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
The governor of the Kaluga Region, Vladislav Shapsha, stood up for the doctor, who called Yevich a “patriot of Russia” and expressed the hope that “ in this whole situation, law enforcement agencies will sort it out and make a fair decision.”
According to the governor, Yevich taught tactical medicine courses in the Kaluga region and spoke «about patriotism and love for the motherland» in KGU. Also, under the guidance of a doctor, local medical students collected several thousand first-aid kits for Kaluga residents participating in the war with Ukraine.
Evic said that he participated in military operations in eastern Ukraine in 2014-2015 on the side of the self-proclaimed DPR as a military doctor, and also traveled there again in 2022 after the start of the Russian invasion.
At the same time, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan told The Insider that Yevich participated in his torture in Donetsk in 2014: “[Yevich] gave ammonia, injected me with some kind of drug or truth serum, a bunch of shit , and the fact that he injected me restored my consciousness so that I was constantly under pressure.»
In February 2023, when he was awarded the «Defender» award from the Union of Journalists of the Kaluga Region, Yevich called » to bury in our land all those who came to it, and in the ruins of their capitals to sign an unconditional surrender.”
