MOSCOW, 13 Apr. Today, musician Sergei Shnurov turned 50 years old. However, the leader of the Leningrad group has long retired from social networks and does not appear at social events. The concert director of the artist briefly told where the performer «disappeared» and how he celebrates the anniversary.
“He is on vacation and is not yet available to the press,” said a representative of Sergei Shnurov.
The concert director did not specify where exactly the artist is now — in Russia or abroad, and whether fans should expect new music and shows in the near future.

In March of this year, Shnurov denied Internet rumors about his intention to leave Russia and acquire citizenship of another country.
“I, like Ksenia Sobchak, prefer to be with my people in fatal moments. Therefore, Ksenia received an Israeli passport, and I stayed with a Russian one,” the group’s press secretary Dmitry Guguchkin quoted the artist’s words at the time.

Sergey Shnurov was born in 1973 in Leningrad. After school, he entered the Restoration Lyceum and received the specialty of a restorer of works made of wood of the fourth category. 
Later, the future musician realized himself as an artist, and successfully. For example, in 2017, his exhibition «Retrospective of Brand Realism» was held at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art.

In 1997, Shnurov founded the Leningrad group, which still exists. The team almost immediately gained popularity among listeners thanks to the topical themes of the songs and simple lyrics.Many of the group's compositions have become popular hits — «Gelendzhik», «Voyage», «WWW», «In St. Petersburg — to drink», «I would like to go to heaven» and many others. Most of them were written by Sergey Shnurov.

Over the more than 20-year history of «Leningrad», the team either fell apart or converged. But he always remained at the top of the charts. And in recent years, in the top of YouTube. In addition to a rich musical life, Shnurov is also known for high-profile personal stories. The artist has been married four times. 
His first student marriage with Maria Ismagilova lasted four years — the couple broke up in the mid-90s. In these relations, Shnurov had a daughter, Seraphim (this year is also a hero of the day — she will celebrate her 30th birthday in the fall. — Approx. ed.).
In 1999, the leader of Leningrad married Svetlana Kostitsyna, the ex-director of the Peps-Ci group. This marriage lasted even less — three years. But the son Apollo was born in him, with whom the artist is on good terms. 
In the period from 2002 to 2007, Sergei Shnurov met with actress Oksana Akinshina, who was 15 years younger than the musician. Against this background, and also because of the constant analysis between lovers, the novel immediately aroused the interest of the press. But he also quickly disappeared when the singer and actress broke up. 
For the third time Shnurov married businesswoman Matilda. This marriage lasted eight years. The ex-spouses refused to publicly comment on the cause of the incident.
The frontman of «Leningrad» did not go to bachelors for a long time. Soon he married again. His chosen one was the daughter of the Ural billionaire Olga Abramova. She bore the musician two children. The artist himself has so far declassified the sex of only the first child. In one of the interviews, he said that his wife gave him a son.
