MOSCOW, April 14 Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev apologized to the representative Germany Alexander Zverev for his behavior in the third round match of the Masters tournament in Monte Carlo.
Medvedev beat Zverev on Thursday with a score of 3:6, 7:5, 7:6 (9:7). The German served for the match with a score of 5:4 in the second and third sets, and also had two match points. As the game progressed, the Russian emotionally reacted to bad moments. In one of the episodes, he damaged the net, in the other, he sent the ball with all his might into the shields. He also argued with the stands and forced them to stop whistling by bringing his index finger to his lips. After the meeting, Medvedev apologized for his behavior.
