In addition, it was decided not to hold events under the auspices of the FIE in the country. Instead, a tournament will be organized in cooperation with Sweden and Finland, which have undertaken similar actions for their World Cup events,» the statement said.
Earlier, the IOC recommended that international federations allow Russians who did not support the special operation as neutral athletes to start. At the same time, the organization proposes not to allow athletes associated with the armed forces and security agencies to participate in the competition.
