MOSCOW, April 12 LDPR Chairman Leonid Slutsky headed the branch of the party in St. Petersburg, the head of the Liberal Democrats himself announced this.
«For a long time,» Slutsky told the agency, answering a question about the event.
The head of the coordinating council of the regional branch is elected by its participants, according to the charter of the party.
Earlier, Slutsky headed the party's central apparatus. The LDPR then reported that the party would make changes to its regional network by the 2023 elections. At the same time, Slutsky also headed the youth department of the Liberal Democrats, and at the congress he headed the supreme council of the party.
