The MTS telecom operator will ban employees from working remotely from abroad, Spektr reports, citing unnamed employees of the company.
According to Spektr's interlocutors, from June 1, the company will close the possibility of remote access for employees in other countries. They were offered to return, otherwise the contract with them was terminated.
The MTS press service did not respond to the publication's request.
In February, VK announced a ban on working from abroad. According to Vice, remote work from outside of Russia was also banned last year for employees of the Russian division of Kaspersky Lab.
In the state-owned Sberbank and Gazprombank, as The Bell employees told, remote work outside of Russia was impossible even before the start of the war.
