The police actively used tear gas and stun grenades to push back the demonstrators.
According to the channel, ten police officers were injured at a demonstration in Paris. One police officer was hospitalized in critical condition after being hit in the head by an improvised explosive device.
French Prime Minister Elisabeth Born used article 49.3 of the constitution on March 16 to pass a bill to raise the country's retirement age from 62 to 64 without a vote in parliament, sparking protests in the country.
On Friday, the Constitutional Council of France is to announce a decision on the compliance of the bill with the norms of the existing legislation of the country. If it is approved, the law will come into force on September 1.
According to the TV channel, the Constitutional Council is expected to announce its decision at half past five in the evening. A meeting of French President Emmanuel Macron with the Cabinet of Ministers is scheduled for 4 p.m.
According to the Interior Ministry, 131 demonstrations are expected in France on Friday, up to 41 thousand people will take part in them.
