MOSCOW, April 11 State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin appealed to the head of the Duma Security Committee, Vasily Piskarev, with a proposal to invite the US Ambassador to the Duma, who would be responsible for the appearance of US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland in the Russian Federation to testify on biolaboratories.
The State Duma Control Committee April 7 unanimously approved the final report of the parliamentary commission investigating the activities of US biolaboratories in Ukraine. The report of the commission contains more than 200 pages. On Tuesday, the State Duma at a plenary session approved the final report of the parliamentary commission.
The Parliamentary Commission on Biolaboratories was established on March 23, 2022, and is headed by co-chairs Irina Yarovaya, Vice Speaker of the State Duma, and Konstantin Kosachev, Vice Speaker of the Federation Council.
«Vasily Ivanovich, … with regard to obtaining reliable information and attracting Nuland and her colleagues responsible for opening biological laboratories in Ukraine, is work being carried out in this direction? … Invite the ambassador of the United States of America and ask him, let him be responsible for Nuland's turnout here. Let her answer to the commission, to the representatives of the people. They have one thing in words, another in deed. They are now deploying along the perimeter of our country and other countries, we have seen the map,» he said during the plenary session.
As Piskarev noted, work is underway in this direction, and Nuland was invited, «with great respect, to testify, those that she knows.» According to Piskarev, the Russian side was ready to pay the costs.
According to Volodin, the fact that the witnesses are not invited is a disrespect to the parliament.
«A country that declares standards in democracy not only violates them itself, but also does everything to ensure that they do not exist… Almost everywhere on the globe, these laboratories will be deployed, and then they will end in a huge tragedy «, Volodin added.
As the speaker of the State Duma noted, the law is the same for all, the United States must first of all fulfill the international ones themselves.
«Invite the ambassador and let him notify Nuland and her henchmen. How to distribute cookies in Ukraine, it means they have enough sense, it is also unknown what these cookies are stuffed with, and they eat them, and then they will get sick,» he concluded.
