Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ilya Kiva said that the FSB of the Russian Federation and the GRU prevented an attempt on his life in Moscow.
According to Kiva, it was in September 2022 ode. Representatives of another country were supposed to commit the murder.
According to Kiva, he was supposed to be shot at the exit from an armored car — near his house or near Ostankino, where he periodically comes to participate in talk shows.

The ex-people's deputy noted that he learned about the danger that threatened him only later from the employees of the Russian special services. The persons who hunted him turned out to be former intelligence officers from a Middle Eastern country who arrived in Russia specifically for this purpose.
Kiva added that he did not know about the further fate of the killers.
Recall that in early March 2022, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine presented Ilya Kiva with suspicion of treason. At the same time, he managed to fly to Moscow, where he asked for political asylum and citizenship.
