ST. PETERSBURG, April 14 A ninth-grader who fired an air pistol at a school in St. Petersburg was arrested for two months, the joint press service of the city courts reports.
«The Kalininsky District Court granted the investigator's request to take a preventive measure in the form of detention against a minor accused of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 213 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,» the press service of the courts reports .
Earlier, the Investigative Committee reported that on April 13, at a bus stop near a school in the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg, a 16-year-old teenager fired several shots from an air pistol in the direction of two schoolchildren and wounded them. Then, while in the school building, he wounded three more students. A case was opened under the article of hooliganism. The head of the administration of the Kalininsky district, Sergei Petrichenko, also reported that the student fired several shots from an air pistol he purchased in one of the stores via the Internet.
The press service of the courts added that the student was arrested for 2 months.
