
WASHINGTON, April 14 The Pentagon announced an agreement with the American defense company Aerojet Rocketdyne to modernize and expand its production using funds allocated to help Ukraine.
The cost of the contract with the manufacturer of rocket engines is, according to a press release, 215.6 million dollars.
«The funds will be used to modernize production processes at the company's enterprises, consolidate production lines, create data processing systems, expand production and accelerate deliveries (ATGM) Javelin, (MANPADS) Stinger and (MLRS) GMLRS,» the statement said.
With Pentagon money, the company will expand and modernize production facilities in the states of Arkansas, Alabama and Virginia.
