MOSCOW, April 14 A working group has been created in the State Duma to develop ideas to ban foreign agents and cultural figures who have left and oppose the Russian Federation from receiving income in Russia, according to Telegram channel vice-speaker of the State Duma Petr Tolstoy.

"He joined the established working group to develop proposals aimed at prohibiting foreign agents, as well as cultural figures who left the country and speak from anti-Russian positions, to receive income from creative activities in Russia. The group was entrusted to lead (Vice Speaker of the State Duma) Irina Anatolyevna Yarovaya,” said Tolstoy.
According to the deputy, the group's task is to find a fair solution in an «extremely subtle and delicate» area, despite the fact that the State Duma receives appeals with «rather radical proposals from our voters.»
«Because it's not worth making money in a country that you hate. And even more so when it comes to proven facts of supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine from funds earned in Russia,» Tolstoy added.

The working group also included Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption Vasily Piskarev, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on State Building and Legislation Pavel Krasheninnikov, Head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications Alexander Khinshtein and Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Culture Elena Yampolskaya,
«I am very glad that the decision to create a working group has been made … And, of course, that the package of proposals formed following the meeting of deputies of our committee ( on culture) with representatives of the executive branch, especially law enforcement agencies, will become the basis for further expanded work,» Yampolskaya wrote in her Telegram channel.
