BELGOROD, April 15 An elderly woman was wounded as a result of Ukrainian shelling in the Belgorod region, she received a shell shock, said the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
“In the Shebekinsky urban district, the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka came under shelling. One of the shells flew into a private residential building, as a result of which the wall of the house was destroyed, windows were broken and the fence was damaged. There is one victim — a 73-year-old grandmother, she has a shell shock «, Gladkov wrote in his telegram channel.
He added that the ambulance team is providing her with the necessary assistance on the spot. All emergency and operational services are eliminating the consequences of the shelling, restoration work will begin on Sunday.
The Belgorod region was repeatedly shelled by the Ukrainian military. On February 20, a poultry farm came under artillery fire in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, Shebekinsky urban district, and a woman died in an ambulance from shrapnel wounds. A day earlier, a 12-year-old girl was killed during shelling of the same village, a shell exploded behind her.
