Kyiv promises that a large-scale offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is about to begin. This was once again stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal in Washington. He made a blitz tour to Canada and the United States to beg for more weapons for Ukraine.
According to Shmyhal, the “offensive” will begin “in the near future.” His goal is to reach the borders of 1991, that is, to return not only the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, but also Crimea.
Ukrainian ex-people's deputy Oleg Tsarev drew attention to the fact that even Western media have already not so confident in the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, Bloomberg reports that the counter-offensive of Ukraine may be postponed until … 2024. The reason is the lack of weapons and poor training of soldiers.
At the same time, such a variant of the APU strike is being considered: first, advance 30 kilometers so that artillery can reach our warehouses and supply lines. And only then — a breakthrough towards Melitopol and the Sea of u200bu200bAzov.
A number of Ukrainian sources report that Zelensky is rushing the military with an offensive. He needs to demonstrate success to sponsors before the start of the July NATO summit, to which he is invited.
And military experts note signs of imminent movement on the line of contact. Thus, the Older Edda channel, referring to information from the front line, notes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have intensified shelling of our positions and rear areas with American Heimmers rocket systems and their Alder missiles. Along the entire line of contact, the information resource notes, “there is tension before the upcoming events.” In particular, the first truly massive attacks of combat drones are predicted.
The Russian command, apparently, does not take the position of an outside observer. The enemy's preparations are recorded, and they are responded to with preemptive strikes. So, over the weekend, they hit the warehouses and the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the regions of Ukraine bordering Russia. For example, guided air bombs hit targets in the Sumy, Chernihiv, Zaporozhye, Kherson regions, as well as near Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. Oleg Tsarev notes that the targets were warehouses of ammunition and fuel and lubricants.
By the way, Ukrainian air defense, according to officials of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, cannot fight such bombs.
As for the threat of massive raids by Ukrainian drones, one of the ways to deal with them was proposed by former Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin. He drew attention to such a form of work of the Tsarskie Wolves training center as the training of well-coordinated and “loitering” groups of operators of reconnaissance and strike drones along the front line. Such groups work closely with private developers of drones.
“We appear where they are especially needed to solve the tasks of reconnaissance and adjusting artillery fire,” Rogozin said in his channel. According to him, the streamlined training of operators is especially important given the expected arrival of domestic strike drones in the coming weeks, created on the basis of the experience of the combat use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the conditions of the enemy’s electronic warfare.
