MOSCOW, April 17It is necessary to support scientific developments in the agricultural industry, this is also important for ensuring food security, for this the Russian government is expanding the possibilities of concluding special investment contracts, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.
“The President set the task of providing a comprehensive, large-scale support system for advanced research and development, and this is especially important for the production of critical products… Our business is very interested in this, and these are, first of all, projects in agriculture. Today, everything what is required for food security should be created in Russia to the maximum,» Mishustin said at a meeting with deputy prime ministers.
For these purposes, the government has expanded the possibilities of concluding special investment contracts. The list of Russian scientific organizations that provide investors with an assessment of the level of technologies used, their relevance and competitiveness will include 10 more structures from the fields of food and agricultural engineering, as well as biotechnology, the prime minister said.
«We hope that these measures will contribute to the active introduction of high-tech solutions in the agricultural industry, which will result in an increase in the volume of food both for the Russian market and for export. The attractiveness of investments in our agro-industrial complex, which means that more new jobs will appear in our regions,» Mishustin stressed.
This solution will allow enterprises to quickly enter the serial production of high-tech products — oils, bioadditives, industrial acids, glycerin, veterinary vaccines, biodegradable bioplastic for packaging.
