St. PETERSBURG, Apr 16, Dmitry Edigarev. SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg told reporters that he could not say anything about the future of hockey player Nikita Gusev in the St. Petersburg team.
Gusev was withdrawn from SKA during the KHL playoffs. The forward missed the fourth, fifth and sixth matches of the final series of the Western Conference against CSKA Moscow.
“I have known Nikita Gusev for a long time. On my initiative, we took him away from Yugra. This is our history, victories at the Olympics. This season we had many injuries, we were looking for options to assemble a combat squad. He helped us , I appreciate the player, I respect. We worked great together, but time will tell what will happen next,» Rotenberg said.
Gusev moved to SKA in early November 2022. Last season, he played 50 matches for the St. Petersburg club and scored 61 points (28 goals + 33 assists).
