MOSCOW, April 17 A large fire in a cafe in the west of Moscow was contained on an area of about 600 square meters, the press service of the capital's head office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation said.
«The measures taken at 12.27 localized the fire,» — said the agency's interlocutor.
The cafe is located on Berezhkovskaya embankment, initially it was reported that the fire area was 200 «squares», then it tripled. During the fire, the roof partially collapsed. There were no reports of casualties.
According to the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, a mobile laboratory is taking air measurements at the site of the fire. According to the results of express analyzes, no excess of the maximum permissible concentration of harmful substances was found. 53 people and 15 vehicles are fighting the fire.
