Earlier, Duma Vice-Speaker Pyotr Tolstoy announced the creation of a working group to develop ideas on banning foreign agents and cultural figures who have left and oppose the Russian Federation from receiving income in Russia.
«My personal opinion. We need to develop a procedure for revoking citizenship for those critics who have received citizenship of other states. This is the first thing to start with,» Khamzaev said, commenting on the initiative to create a working group.
At the same time, he said that we could talk about those citizens who, for example, were held accountable for discrediting the RF Armed Forces, but were not punished, having left for another country to obtain citizenship of another state. In this case, Khamzaev said, «it is necessary to revoke the citizenship of the Russian Federation.»
