MOSCOW, 18 Apr. Britain's Got Talent contestant, professional stuntman Thomas Wu set himself on fire on stage and solved a Rubik's Cube. A video of the dangerous stunt was posted on the program's YouTube channel.
In the video, Wu covers himself with flame retardant, after which his assistant sets him on fire. A burning stuntman solves a puzzle in front of astonished spectators and jury members. And when the Rubik's cube is completed, the assistant extinguishes the flame with a fire extinguisher.
Amazed by what they saw, the judges missed Thomas Wu in the next round of the project. But the audience reacted ambiguously to what they saw. Someone left an enthusiastic «bravo», called the stuntman «brave» and asked what he would surprise next time. But many still criticized the stuntman.
«
«Children can repeat what they saw,» «Looks impressive, but he just used props for the film,» «Stunts like that should not be performed on stage! Unacceptable!», «This is not entertainment, but madness!» users reacted.
This isn't the first time Thomas Wu has demonstrated his fire trick. He once did it on his social network, and also became one of the directors of the burning people stunt while working on the rock band Slipknot's video for the song Yen.
