MOSCOW, Apr 16 China and Russia are connected a strong relationship that surpasses Cold War alliances and is not directed against third countries, Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu said.
«We have strong relations, they surpass the alliances of the Cold War and are not directed against third countries,» Shanfu said at talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Shanfu also noted that Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping «are bound by friendship, and everyone in China knows this.»
