MOSCOW, 18 Apr. State Duma deputy Dmitry Kuznetsov invited pop singer Philip Kirkorov to visit Donbass. The politician said in an interview with Evening Paragraph that he was ready to provide all the conditions for the artist's trip.
“Put on tights, if you have 20 anti-drone guns, we will welcome you with open arms. Kuznetsov said.
He added that he doubted the real readiness of Kirkorov to go to the front.
“I don’t think that he is ready himself. But he can support weapons and buy biomaterials from his fees. Philip Bedrosovich could show civil solidarity. He could show his philanthropy,” the deputy noted.
According to the politician, the servicemen need real help, not the words of artists.
“The guys at the front need deeds, not words. Let the artists help and support with deeds. Much is needed. Send everyone who is promoting to me,” Kuznetsov concluded.
Earlier, humorist Maxim Galkin* joked at one of his concerts that Philip Kirkorov should go to the special operation zone in transparent tights to resolve the conflict. In response, the singer said that he was ready to do this «for the sake of preserving peace.»
The People's Artist of Russia has not yet responded to Kuznetsov's invitation.
