NALCHIK, Apr 18 A court in Ingushetia has arrested a resident of Nazran, who was detained earlier for opening fire with an air pistol and injuring two children and a woman, the department of the RF Investigative Committee reported by region.
Earlier it was reported that on April 15, a 28-year-old resident of Nazran fired shots from a pneumatic pistol at passers-by on Moskovskaya Street. As a result, minor children aged 11 and 12, as well as a 42-year-old woman, were injured. The man was detained, a criminal case was opened against him under the article «Hooliganism committed with the use of weapons or objects used as weapons», the sanction of which provides for up to seven years in prison.
«On April 18, the Magassky District Court granted the investigator's request and chose a preventive measure in the form of detention against the defendant,» the message says.
