vacation options, where there will be no alarm clocks, no Mondays, no bosses. One of the directions, despite the difficult political situation and logistical difficulties, will undoubtedly be Crimea. From the Russian regions, 17 pairs of trains will run to the peninsula on a permanent basis, plus five additional ones. Natalia Stambulnikova, chairman of the Association of Small Hotels of Crimea, told MK about which Crimean regions will be leaders among Russians, about discounts on housing in guest houses.
“We hope that this year's season will be at the level of last year's holiday season,” says Natalia Stambulnikova. — For the May holidays, mainly residents of Crimea and neighboring regions will go to the coast. I see who is booking places in guest houses now, who is going to come. These are mostly weekend tourists. Most of the small objects, hotels and guest houses located on the coast are still seasonal. They will open closer to June. Tourists for the May holidays are ready to accept those small hotels that work all year round. And there are many of them too. About what load will be on the May holidays, it will be possible to judge the season as a whole. This is a good guide for the summer. Of course, there will not be such a tourist flow that was before the special operation. We do not wear rose-colored glasses, we understand that this is also connected with the location, with the complex communication between the peninsula and the mainland. We are aware that now is not the time for earnings, but the time for survival.
— This is the Eastern coast of Crimea, including the coast of the Azov and Black Seas, where there are many small towns and cities — Kerch, Feodosia, Koktebel. Again, this has to do with logistics. And, of course, the southern coast of Crimea with the resort towns of Alupka, Yalta, Alushta will always be attractive for tourists. The favorites will always be the mountainous Crimea. The least loaded will be the West Coast (the cities of Saki, Evpatoria, the villages of Nikolaevka, Novofedorovka, Popovka, Olenevka).

— One of the advantages of resting in the Crimea is the range of prices. You can find small guest houses where accommodation with breakfast for one person will cost from 1500 rubles. There are a lot of special offers, for long stays, early booking discounts can reach up to 30%. That is, a very differentiated approach to pricing.
— You need to know the places where to buy berries and fruits. We, the locals, for example, go to special markets, fairs, where manufacturers come. You can not buy berries and fruits along the roads, where they are sold for a triple price. They are just designed for tourists to withdraw more money from them. Ask the owners of small accommodation facilities, they will tell you where they buy themselves. And these will be very pleasant prices.
In June there will already be a strawberry season, a kilogram can be bought for 100 rubles. Cherries last year at the height of the season cost 120 rubles per kilogram. Selected ground cucumbers — 70 rubles and below. The only thing we have, traditionally, is quite expensive raspberries, the price for it, lower than 200 rubles per kilogram, does not fall.
