UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths reported on his microblog on Twitter about the incident at the office of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in South Darfur in Sudan.
According to him, unknown persons attacked the office and looted it.
«Attacks against humanitarian workers continue in Sudan. We are receiving reports of attacks and sexual violence against them. An office … in South Darfur was ransacked yesterday,» he wrote.
Griffiths stressed that such the state of affairs is unacceptable and must be stopped.
