VLADIVOSTOK, April 20 The court arrested for two months a resident of the Primorsky Territory, who, according to investigators, planted a 25-centimeter knife in the head of his girlfriend in an attempt to kill her , said the regional prosecutor's office.
Earlier, the Vladivostok Clinical Hospital No. 2 was told about saving the life of a patient with a 25-centimeter knife sticking out of her head. According to doctors, the blade entered the skull by 4.5 centimeters without hitting a single large vessel or vital part of the brain. Investigators believe that the girl was stabbed by her 19-year-old partner during a quarrel. The young man has been charged with attempted murder, the region's SUCC said.
«The Ussuriysk District Court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 2 months against the accused,» the prosecutor's office said in a publication on the telegram channel.
