Tasnim: US submarine expelled from Strait of Hormuz
The Commander of the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Amir Shahram Irani, told the Tasnim news agency about the Ohio-class USS Florida submarine, which tried to cross the Strait of Hormuz underwater.

The commander of the Iranian Navy emphasized that the submarine made every effort to cross the strait unnoticed and in complete silence.
Amir Shahram Irani noted that Washington should explain the reasons for violating the rules of navigation on a major sea route.
“They must now comply with all international rules,” he added.
