According to Channel One, Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov spoke about the refusal given by the US authorities in response to a request to lay wreaths at the obelisk in memory of Soviet and American soldiers in the United States this year.
The diplomat recalled that Russian diplomats received a similar refusal and last year.
«The Embassy of the Russian Federation is deprived of the opportunity to lay flowers,» Antonov said.
