The largest pension in Russia, representatives of difficult professions, as well as residents of the Far North, with the appropriate work experience, said Vadim Vinogradov, a member of the Public Chamber, Dean of the HSE Faculty of Law, in an interview with the Prime agency.
He also noted that federal employees with at least 18.5 years of service are entitled to a seniority pension. This category includes servicemen, cosmonauts, flight test personnel.
At the same time, the procedure for calculating the pension for long service in different regions is not the same. For example, residents of the Far North and regions equated to it receive an allowance for difficult working conditions, regardless of qualifications and type of work.
Earlier, it was reported that the Russian authorities were planning to double compensation for voluntary pension savings. The corresponding bill was adopted by the State Duma, it involves an increase to 2.8 million rubles in the threshold for reimbursement of citizens' funds that are managed by non-state pension funds (NPFs).
