The Lefortovo District Court sent Kitcha to a pre-trial detention center as a preventive measure, but it is not known when this happened. The press service of the court did not disclose the details of the criminal case, specifying that some materials were marked «secret».
The Promtekhnologiya plant, where Kicha worked until March 2021, has been producing rifles under the ORSIS brand since 2011. Also, the company is conducting research and development work to «upgrade modern high-precision weapons systems,» the website says.
April 18, the State Duma adopted amendments in two readings at once, which will allow life imprisonment in cases of treason. The bill has not yet been approved by Vladimir Putin, so the amendments have not yet entered into force.
