In Romania, Senator Diana Shoshoaca shouted «Glory to Moscow» right from the podium of the parliament. The senator did so in response to allegations that her work computer was linked to Russia. The Romanian publication Ziare writes about this case.

“Given that the laptop belongs to the Senate, and the entrance is via Wi-Fi of the upper chamber of deputies, therefore, the chamber itself is in direct communication [with the Russian Federation], and VPN, it means from Moscow,” she said, “confirming” the version with accusations against her. «So the Senate betrayed,» she said sarcastically in response to a statement from one Senate colleague.

«Yes? Glory to Moscow,» she retorted. The video of Shoshoaca's speech went viral.

The senator made such a sarcastic attack, introducing a bill according to which the country's Romanian parliament should decide on unification with Moldova.

Earlier, she initiated a bill suggesting a break agreements on good neighborly relations with Ukraine and the annexation of part of Ukrainian territories. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in response, proposed to impose sanctions against Shoshoake, she was included in the Peacemaker database. The senator herself said that she received death threats from the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry because of her initiative.
