«An Iraqi citizen has died as a result of the events that are taking place in Sudan,» al-Sahhaf told the Iraqi news agency INA.
A representative of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry also said that 14 citizens of the country were evacuated from the Sudanese capital Khartoum to Port Sudan, located on the Red Sea coast.
