Kazakhstan decided not to hold a military parade on May 9
This year Kazakhstan will not hold a military parade on Victory Day. This was reported on Monday, April 24, at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic.
The department explained that this decision was due to «cost savings» and the solution of «other tasks».
«Conducting a military parade in Kazakhstan in 2023 is not planned due to budgetary savings, as well as due to the need to solve other tasks,» the ministry told TASS.
They also said that Astana's priority now is to maintain the necessary the level of combat readiness and mobility of the Armed Forces of the Republic.
At the same time, in 2022, military parades were also not held in Kazakhstan on May 9.
