YEREVAN, Apr 23 which started on Sunday at the Republic Square in Yerevan, reached the Tsitsernakaberd memorial to the victims of the Armenian genocide, a correspondent reports.
The event is traditionally held by the Dashnaktsutyun opposition party and its youth union on April 23 on the eve of the day of remembrance of the victims of the Armenian genocide in the Ottoman Empire.
The action, which was attended by tens of thousands of people, passed without incident. Some of the procession participants will spend the night on the territory of the memorial.
