«Fortum» changed the CEO at the request of the Federal Property Management Agency

MOSCOW, April 26 At the request of the Federal Property Management Agency, Fortum's board of directors decided to change the general director, Vyacheslav Kozhevnikov from Bashneft has been appointed to him, the company said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday signed a decree according to which the share of PJSC Fortum, owned by the Finnish corporation Fortum, was transferred to the temporary management of the Federal Property Management Agency.
«In accordance with the requirement of the Federal Property Management Agency dated April 25, 2023, the board of directors decided to re-elect the general director. Vyacheslav Evgenievich Kozhevnikov became them,» the company said in a statement.

Before his appointment as CEO of Fortum, Kozhevnikov, since November 2019, held the position of Deputy Chief Engineer — Chief Power Engineer of Bashneft-Dobycha.

Fortum's CEO position was previously held by Alexander Chuvaev.
