TASHKENT, Apr 26 German Mercedes-Benz, which sold its plant in the Moscow region to the Avtodom dealer, has an option for its repurchase within six years, Deputy Prime Minister — head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov told reporters.
«Option for 6 years, repurchase is possible at the market price after an independent assessment,» Manturov said, commenting on the sale of the Mercedes plant in Russia.
On Tuesday, the Avtodom dealer announced the closing of a deal to acquire Russian assets of Mercedes-Benz, including a plant in the Moscow region, an official distributor and a leasing subsidiary. In particular, in accordance with the deal, Avtodom received the right to carry out maintenance of Mercedes-Benz cars in Russia, including warranty and post-warranty support.
