In the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia, a branch of Rossotrudnichestvo caught fire — Russian Center for Science and Culture. This was reported by representatives of the fire service and the local newspaper Politis.
The center, as firefighters noted, was under reconstruction. The building sustained «significant damage» due to the fire. They did not name the cause of the fire.
The head of the center, Alina Radchenko, said that they heard «two strong pops», and «according to eyewitnesses, Molotov cocktails were thrown into the building.»
Visitors evacuated, there were no casualties.
