MOSCOW, April 26 The West is trying to completely ban the use of the Russian language, books, films, music in it so that people forget their traditions and history, said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking at the Knowledge marathon on Wednesday.
«We see attempts to completely ban the use of the Russian language, books in it, films, music, all our content on the Internet. Such a policy of abolishing Russia is aimed at ensuring that people cannot communicate in the same language, forget their traditions, history could not draw lessons from the past, but it is precisely historical knowledge that helps us to correctly understand the causes of ongoing events,» Mishustin said.
The Russian Prime Minister noted that it is therefore very important to preserve the historical memory of the peoples of Russia and neighbors, to treat the Russian language and traditions with care.
