To press -the service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) was informed that as a result of a gas release during repair work at a field located in the Mirninsky district, nine people were injured.
It is specified that this morning at the gas production site, which was located a few kilometers from the village of Taas-Yuryakh, during the repair work in the well, “gas was released followed by the ignition of the gas-air mixture.”
“According to preliminary information, nine people were injured as a result of gas release. At the moment, all of them are hospitalized,” the department noted.
