WASHINGTON Apr 28 Joe Biden's job approval rating President of the United States fell to a record 37%, according to the results of a public opinion poll conducted by the research service Gallup.
According to his data, the rating of Biden's presidential work has remained at the level of about 40% for almost all months over the past year and a half. Until today, the only exception was July last year (38%).
Biden's latest, all-time low rating is based on the results of a poll conducted between April 3-25. The final day of the study thus coincided with Biden's announcement of his official intention to run for the presidency again in 2024.
Recent public opinion polls, according to Gallup, indicate that, in general, the US president retains support among voters loyal to the Democrats. The same, however, cannot be said of «independent» voters, whose loyalty rating has dropped by 9 percentage points over the past few months.
The Gallup study was conducted among 1,000 American adults, the survey method was not specified. The sample is representative.
