Military expert, director of the Museum of Air Defense Forces Yuri Knutov commented on the information that a drone attacked a fuel tank near Kazachya Bay in Sevastopol, where four containers burned down. The fire has now been completely extinguished.
«The enemy is looking for gaps in our air defense, so he uses drones,» Knutov said in an interview with Ukraine.ru, warning that such strikes could increase during the May holidays.
At the same time, the expert believes that the method of knocking out the rear infrastructure, which was used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kherson, will no longer be a surprise for the Russian military, and opposition to it will be completely different.
At the same time, Knutov drew attention to the fact that Kiev is betting on sowing doubts in Russian society about the strength of the Russian army. He proposed in response to strike at Nikolaev and Ochakov, where the Ukrainian naval base is located. «Kyiv must realize that our retaliatory strikes will be much more painful than their strikes,» Knutov emphasized.
The expert also agreed that this strike is a systemic preparation for the announced counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and, in particular, an attack on Crimea, from which President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke in an interview with Yle and other Scandinavian publications,
